The working visit of the RA NA Speaker Ara Babloyan to Artsakh Republic (AR) continues.

On September 29, Ara Babloyan met with the AR NA Speaker Ashot Ghulyan in Stepanakert.

During the short tête-à-tête the heads of the parliaments of the Armenian two republics discussed issues regarding the inter-parliamentary, the inner-political developments of Armenia and healthcare sphere.

Afterwards the meeting continued in expanded format with the participation of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the National Assembly of the Artsakh Republic (AR) and the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.

Welcoming the attendees, the Head of the Parliament of the Artsakh Republic once again congratulated Ara Babloyan on behalf of the NA on the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the RA Parliament. Ashot Ghulyan highlighted the close cooperation existing between the two parliaments in the sphere of the Standing Committees and the parliamentary diplomacy. The expansion and activation of cooperation in the sphere of legislative works was paid special attention to.

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Ara Babloyan emphasized the development of the ties existing between the parliaments of the Republic of Armenia and the Artsakհ Republic and the rise of the role of the parliament with regards of the natural and smooth activities of the country.

In the course of the meeting the themes on the RA inner-political current situation and possible developments, the healthcare of the two countries, the inter-parliamentary cooperation, the parliamentary diplomacy were touched upon.

An agreement was reached on holding of the upcoming sitting of the AR-RA Parliamentary Committee.

After the meeting held in the parliament the RA NA Speaker accompanied by the AR NA Deputy Speaker Vahram Balayan visited Stepanakert and laid flowers at the memory of the victims of the Artsakh freedom-fighting.

The day before the Speakers of the parliaments of the two republics also visited Stepanakert branch of Tumo Creative Technologies Centre and got acquainted with the educational programmes in the Centre.
